On our website, we seek to publish works that cannot be published in print. This includes experimental music, net art, video art, and nonlinear literature, fluxus scores, experimental music and performance art. We're most interested in publishing original work, but we're also willing to blog about previously published work that fits our style and scope.

Requirements

1. In your cover letter, describe the work you have submitted. Tell us, in what way(s) is the work experimental or conceptual? (Feel free to phrase your answer in terms of an if/then hypothesis statement, a recipe, etc.)

We're interested in fiction and other forms of narrative that are difficult to classify, but here are some classifications for example: constraint writing, text generation experiments, conceptual writing, narrative that employs appropriated text, etc. We are not interested in genre fiction, unless it exemplifies a radical departure from the genre. Please familiarize yourself with the size of our printed publication. Longer works may need to be excerpted in print and published in their entirety, online.

We’re also interested in more traditional magazine content such as interviews, reviews, photo essays, horoscopes, the little tidbit articles that make magazines fun...
• Reviews – If you’re a bibliophile, an audiophile or a screen head, or even if you want your own work reviewed, let’s talk.
• DIY – Recipes are fun, but even more fun are recipes for things that aren’t food.
• Quizzes – The quizzes in some magazine are a guilty pleasure. They’re fun, self-indulgent, and slightly educational.
• Journalism – Cover story articles, and the like. Got a hard-hitting message? Let’s hear it.
• Interviews – Banter, repartee, etc. with someone who does something interesting.
